Topic: Place of Prayer
Notes and Scripture from services (NKJV):
Matthew 6:5 - 6
5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they
love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that
they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go
into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is
in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you
openly.
If you want to come out of bondage, have a place of prayer. Were praying from a relationship.

If there's no relationship, there's no prayer.
Psalm: 91
91 He
who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
3 Surely
He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
And from the perilous pestilence.
4 He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
5 You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
6 Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.
7 A
thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.
9 Because
you have made the Lord, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
10 No evil shall befall you,
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
11 For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
12 In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
13 You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.
14 “Because
he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”
What happens when we pray.
Luke 5:16 - 20
16 So He Himself often
withdrew into the wilderness and prayed. 17 Now
it happened on a certain day, as He was teaching, that there were Pharisees and
teachers of the law sitting by, who had come out of every town of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem.
And the power of the Lord was present to heal them. 18 Then behold, men
brought on a bed a man who was paralyzed, whom they sought to bring in and lay
before Him. 19 And
when they could not find how they might bring him in, because of the crowd,
they went up on the housetop and let him down with his bed through the
tiling into the midst before Jesus.20 When He saw their faith, He said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”
Revelation is something revealed or disclosed.
1. Prayer is a place of revelation
2. Prayer is a place of Power, Power is authority
3. Prayer is a place of Miracles
4. Prayer is a place of receiving
5. Prayer is a place where you become one with the
ONE.
Genesis 1:26 - 27
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man
in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish
of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth
and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in
His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He
created them.
