Nick Fair preaching on Fresh Oil
Scripture from services (NKJV):
Matthew
25:1 - 13
25 “Then
the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and
went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were
wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with
them, 4 but the
wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the
bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at
midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins
arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the
foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered,
saying, ‘No, lest
there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and
buy for yourselves.’ 10 And
while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in
with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward
the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and
said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
13 “Watch
therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.
10 But my horn You have exalted like a wild ox;
I have been anointed with fresh oil.

5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!
Jude 1:1 - 4

a bondservant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,
To those who are called, sanctified by God the Father, and
preserved in Jesus Christ:
2 Mercy,
peace, and love be multiplied to you.
3 Beloved,
while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I
found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the
faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. 4 For
certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this
condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny
the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus
Christ.
Jude
1: 12
12 These are spots in your love feasts, while they
feast with you without fear, serving only themselves. They are clouds without
water, carried about by the winds; late autumn
trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots;
Jude
1: 14
14 Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, “Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints,
Romans
6:1 - 2
6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace
may abound? 2 Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer
in it?
Romans
6: 12
12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts.
Romans
6:14-15
14 For
sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
15 What
then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not!

John 2:1
2 My little children,
these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we
have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.
