Power is...Two walking together in agreement.
John 1:1 - 10
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All
things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In
Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in
the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
John’s Witness: The True Light
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This
man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him
might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of
that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man
coming into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made through
Him, and the world did not know Him.
Mark 7:26 - 29
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phoenician by birth, and she kept asking Him to cast the demon out of her daughter. 27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not good to take the children’s bread and throw it to the little dogs.”
29 Then He said to her, “For this saying go your way; the demon has gone out of your daughter.”
We can't walk with God if we do not believe in his word.
Ephesians 6:10 - 18
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally,
my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole
armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not
wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts
of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up
the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and
having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded
your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod
your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking
the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts
of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the
sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always
with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with
all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

Many Healed in the Evening
16 When evening had come, they brought to Him many who
were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all
who were sick, 17 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah
the prophet, saying:
“He Himself took our infirmities
And bore our sicknesses.”

1. You can lean on Gods word just the same as you can lean
on him.
2. We can rest in the promise of God as you lean on him.
3. We can act on the written word.
4. If we have a need We can take Phil. 4:19 to heart as if he JUST said it.
