Leviticus 17:11

the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it
to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the
blood that makes atonement for the soul.’

Ephesians 1:7-11
7 In
Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of

in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in

1. The blood is the agent for purification.
1 John 1:9
9 If
we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Matthew 23:27
27 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like
whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full
of dead men’s bones and all uncleanness.
2. The blood is a life supply.
John 6:53-56
53 Then
Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you,
unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh
and drinks My blood has eternal
life, and I will raise him up at the last day. 55 For My flesh is food
indeed, and My blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.
3. The blood is a climate control
Mark 14:54
54 But
Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the servants and warmed himself at the fire.
Ephesians 2:3
3 among
whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of
wrath, just as the others.
4. The blood is a power plant, infuses you with energy.
Hebrews 10:19
19 Therefore,
brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus,
Will give you boldness.
5. The blood is an emergency first aid kit.
Revelations 12:11
11 And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
